Sylvie Demers

Dr. Sylvie Demers is a therapist who helps couples and families strengthen their relationships. With over 25 years of practice in Maine, Demers works with Emotionally Focused Therapy, a method designed to enhance understanding and closeness in relationships.

Demers holds a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's in Social Work from the University of New England. She has completed an Externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Core Skills Training, along with a Certificate in Traumatic Stress from the Trauma Center at JRI, Boston.
