About
Terence Venable, M.Ed., is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Matthew Browning, LPC. He works with children, teens, college students, adults, athletes, multicultural clients, and individuals with disabilities and addresses ADHD, anxiety, depression, identity issues, relationship problems, substance abuse, and trauma. He uses person-centered, humanistic, and cognitive behavioral therapy and employs trauma-informed practices.
He graduated from Penn State University in 2024 with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling; his bachelor's in sports and exercise psychology from West Virginia University with a minor in communication studies informs his work with athletes. His internships include Penn State's university athletics department, a free clinic for college students, and WorkLink.
Terence offers face-to-face and telehealth sessions and creates a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative space to help clients define and work toward their goals.
