Thomia Thompson

Thomia "Mia" Thompson, LHMC, is a licensed mental health counselor and Christian Life Coach with over a decade of counseling experience. She serves as Assistant Clinical Director at Renewed Integrative Counseling, leads the Riverview Office Team, and provides support to all Site Leads.

She offers Biblically Informed care alongside evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Play Therapy, EMDR, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). For couples work she is certified in SYMBIS and holds a Level 2 Gottman Couples therapy certification.

Mia works with children, adolescents, adults, and families and draws on a background in Christian ministry, education, and the business sector. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, marital challenges, family dynamics, academic stressors, and career aspirations, using an integrative approach that blends spiritual insights with proven techniques to support client growth.
