Amanda Hood

Amanda Hood, MSW, LISW-CPS, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a State of South Carolina LISW-CP approved Supervisor. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina College of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University.

She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families, specializing in behavior problems, adjustment issues, adoptions, school difficulties, family communication problems, and parenting concerns. Her extensive experience in psychotherapy allows her to provide comprehensive support across life stages.

Amanda's therapeutic philosophy centers on collaboration and individualized care; she creates a comfortable and confidential space where clients can recognize strengths in their existing adaptive skills and learn new tools and methods to address patterns that no longer serve them. She aims to support clients in taking steps toward meaningful change.
