With over a decade of experience in the substance use disorder field, Charles "Chuck" Kamai, MA, LMFT, CSAC brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to his therapy practice. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Chuck views therapy through a family systems lens, recognizing the interconnected nature of substance dependence and its impact on relationships.

Chuck's approach is both experiential and integrative, tailoring systems theories to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. His trauma-informed practice utilizes evidence-based interventions to address substance dependence, while maintaining cultural sensitivity and valuing diversity. Chuck acknowledges how cultural trauma affects specific groups and strives to create a non-judgmental, curious, and collaborative therapeutic environment.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Chuck is well-equipped to handle a wide range of issues. Chuck is LGBTQIA+ supportive and welcomes clients from all faiths and spiritual practices.
