With over two decades of experience in the mental health field, Daniel Crawford, MS, LPC, brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse therapeutic background to his practice. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Daniel has spent the last 15 years honing his skills in providing compassionate and effective counseling services to a wide range of clients.

Daniel's journey in mental health began long before his counseling career. His early experiences as a Teaching Parent at a group home for emotionally disturbed children laid the foundation for his empathetic approach to therapy. This background, combined with his subsequent work counseling veterans with PTSD, has given Daniel a unique perspective on the complexities of human emotions and behavior.

Specializing in cognitive therapy for adults and play therapy for children, Daniel employs a client-centered approach tailored to each individual's needs. He is particularly adept at addressing a variety of mental health issues, including depression, addiction, grief, ADHD/OCD, and anxiety. His training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) makes him especially qualified to work with clients dealing with PTSD.

Daniel's multicultural background as a self-described "Military Brat" has instilled in him an openness to different cultures and beliefs. Having lived around the world during his childhood, he brings a global perspective to his practice, allowing him to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Counseling from the University of Alabama Birmingham, Daniel combines academic knowledge with practical experience.
