Heather Thomasson

Heather Thomasson, LPC-MHSP-S, PMH-C, is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider and Supervisor. She is trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is a TF-CBT clinician through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).

With over 15 years of experience spanning psychiatric hospitalization to community-based programs, she focuses on perinatal mental health, including fertility struggles, pregnancy and infant loss, and perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). She is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI).

Heather uses client-centered therapy grounded in positive affirmations and self-compassion to help clients challenge unhealthy thoughts and build practical skills. She also serves as a Qualified Clinical Supervisor in Tennessee, offering individual and group supervision for counselors working towards LPC-MHSP.
