Karen Rippy

Karen Rippy, Ph.D., LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California who has been licensed in California since 1983. She brings more than three decades of experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

Dr. Rippy specializes in co-parenting strategies, teen and child counseling, couple therapy, modern addictions, discernment counseling, and divorce-related matters. She is trained in EMDR and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), is a Doctoral Addictions Counselor certified by the National Forensic Association, and serves as an Anger Management Trainer/Consultant.

Dr. Rippy holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Sierra and Claremont Graduate University, an M.A. from California State University, Fullerton, and a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach. She is listed in the National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists, is part of the Discernment Counseling DRI, and sees clients in the Ladera Ranch and Mission Viejo area. Her approach is holistic and client-centered, combining empathy with practical strategies to help clients address complex relationship challenges.
