Leah Mitchell

Leah Mitchell, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor at Freedom Within Center. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and interpersonal conflict/violence.

She uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For trauma she employs Narrative Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); she also uses Motivational Interviewing and has training in Gottman Couples Therapy.

Leah provides both in-person and virtual sessions and works with a range of insurance providers. She prioritizes a safe, nonjudgmental space and draws on personal experience and cultural humility to support clients toward growth and healing.
