Martin Shaw

Martin Shaw is a counselor who has over two decades to helping people, families, and groups navigate mental health challenges. Shaw works with children, adolescents, and adults facing issues such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.

Shaw began his academic journey at Vernon College, earning an Associate's in Science in 2001, followed by a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Midwestern State University. He completed his Master's of Arts in Counseling in 2006. His professional experience includes roles at the 82nd medical group, University of Texas Medical Branch, Wichita County MHMR, and Rose Street Mental Health Care.

Shaw employs client centered therapy, using cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal techniques, and play therapy. He believes in a collaborative counseling process, providing a supportive environment for clients to explore challenges and pursue positive change.
