Mary Gamas

Mary Elizabeth (M.E.) Gamas is a Licensed Master Social Worker who brings warmth, creativity, and a trauma-informed lens to her work with children, teens, and adults. With a background in child welfare, juvenile court, and advocacy at the Northern Plains Children’s Advocacy Center, M.E. is passionate about helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and life transitions.

She earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Minot State University and completed her MSW along with a graduate certificate in Child and Adult Advocacy Studies from the University of South Dakota. M.E. is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, CBT, DBT, and sex, desire, and relationship therapy. Her approach is gender-affirming, identity-centered, and grounded in evidence-based care.
