Patti Rushing

Patti Rushing, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over two decades of experience in counseling and teaching within school settings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Florida and a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling from Clemson University.

She works with children, families, adolescents, young adults, and adults, addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-worth issues, OCD, divorce, grief, trauma, relationships, and life stage transitions. Her approach blends humanistic techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment theory, mindfulness, and play techniques, with a focus on meeting people where they are.

Her background in education uniquely positions her to support children and to collaborate with families on parenting strategies. She creates a non-judgmental, supportive environment aimed at helping clients better understand themselves, experience hope, and pursue personal growth.
