Sayaka Maas

Sayaka Maas, MS, LPC, CMAC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Master Addiction Counselor with over a decade of experience. She specializes in supporting adults through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, dissociation, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, grief and loss, cultural struggles, substance use concerns, chronic pain, and major life transitions. Sayaka honors each client’s autonomy, serving as a guide to help them make their own decisions and find individualized paths to healing. Drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and parts work, she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. Her practice is informed not only by advanced clinical training but also by her personal journey of healing and her lived experience as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and immigrant from Japan.
