Stacey Baughman

Stacey Baughman is a therapist who works with clients in sex addiction therapy and trauma counseling. Baughman helps people address complex trauma and addiction issues, both process-related and substance-based, using evidence-based integrative approaches.

Baughman earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and Clinical Counseling from Ottawa University and a Bachelor's of Arts in Counseling Psychology, Sociology, and Human Resource Management from Morningside College. She spent nine years at The Meadows, an inpatient treatment facility, where she developed her skills as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and trauma counselor.

Her therapeutic toolkit includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Task Model for Sex Addiction, and Somatic Experiencing (SEP). Clients can expect an engaging and active therapeutic style, characterized by a personalized touch. Baughman's approach aims to dismantle old thought patterns and enhance individual strengths.
