Timothy Cavell

Timothy A. Cavell is a Clinical Psychologist and Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Cavell works with troubled families, -willed children, rebellious teens, and depressed adolescents, as well as adults facing long-standing emotional challenges.

Dr. Cavell earned his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and completed an internship at the Morrison Center for Youth and Families in Portland, Oregon. He is also an accomplished author with three books addressing child and family psychology, including "Working with Parents of Aggressive Children." His research has received support from institutions such as the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Institute of Educational Sciences.
