Jason Reinhart

With nearly two decades of experience working closely with orthopedic surgeons and pain management physicians, Jason Reinhart brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Total Therapy Florida. His journey in the field of physical therapy began with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo in 1998, laying a strong foundation for his future career.

Jason's passion for helping others recover from pain and regain mobility led him to further his education. He earned his Physical Therapy Assistant license from Professional Skills Institute, specializing in outpatient rehabilitation. This additional training has equipped him with the skills to provide targeted, effective care to patients with a wide range of physical ailments.

At Total Therapy Florida, Jason leverages his extensive background in orthopedics and pain management to offer specialized treatment techniques. He is certified in High Velocity and Low Amplitude techniques for treating both spinal and extremity issues, demonstrating his commitment to staying at the forefront of physical therapy practices. Jason's expertise extends to various manual techniques, including Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), kinesio-taping application, and myofascial release-decompression. These advanced methods allow him to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Since relocating to Venice in 2017, Jason has become an integral part of the Total Therapy Florida team. His approach to patient care is holistic, combining his technical skills with a deep understanding of pain management and orthopedics. This blend of knowledge and hands-on experience enables Jason to guide patients through their rehabilitation journey effectively, helping them achieve optimal physical function and a pain-free lifestyle.

Outside of his professional life, Jason is deeply rooted in his community. He and his wife Dee are active members of Bayside Community Church in Sarasota, reflecting his commitment to service both in and out of the clinic. As a stepfather to twin daughters, Alexis and Ashley, Jason understands the importance of family and brings this empathetic perspective to his interactions with patients. In his spare time, he enjoys reading at the beach, exercising, playing golf, and kayaking - activities that not only keep him physically active but also allow him to appreciate the beautiful Florida environment he now calls home.
