Tony Byrd

Tony Byrd, LMHC, brings over 25 years of treatment experience to his work. He uses cognitive behavioral, existential, reality, and recreation/leisure therapies to provide a respectful, empathetic, and confidential therapeutic relationship.

He has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. His areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, substance abuse, anger management, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, and personality disorders.

Tony is experienced in trauma, forensic settings, Baker Acts, sex offender treatment, LGBT issues, and child/adolescent behavior modification. He focuses on empowering clients to be active participants in their recovery, educating clients and collaboratively developing treatment plans.
