Vondolyn's educational background includes a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College, complemented by a Bachelor of Professional Studies and an Associate in Science from SUNY Empire State College. This solid academic foundation, coupled with her extensive field experience, has equipped her to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns.
Throughout her career, Vondolyn has worn many hats in the human service field, including roles as a Clinician/Therapist, Probation Investigator, Court Liaison, Case Manager/Care Coordinator, and Domestic Violence Advocate. Her diverse professional background allows her to bring a comprehensive understanding to her clients' varied needs. Vondolyn's experience extends to forensic settings, having interned at the Youth Detention Department as a Family Court Social Worker and at Erie County Holding Center and Erie County Correctional Facility as a Forensic Specialist 2.
At Mental Health and Christian Counseling, Vondolyn offers an array of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Her specialties include mental health assessments, alcohol and chemical dependency screenings (with New York State Naloxone and Driving Impaired certification), psychotherapy, pre-marital counseling, and various group education sessions focusing on self-esteem, anger management, and domestic violence. She also provides grief counseling and employs Bio Acoustic Utilization Therapy in her practice.
