About
Unlocking inner wisdom through play and connection, A.G. Estes, LMFT (TEMP), brings a unique and collaborative approach to therapy. As a Nashville native with a deep love for music, A.G. combines her passion for human connection with innovative therapeutic techniques to create a safe and celebratory space for her clients.
A.G. specializes in working with children, teenagers, and their caregivers, particularly through the medium of play therapy. Currently pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist, she is dedicated to helping clients bridge the gap between their current situation and their desired goals. Her areas of focus include navigating trauma, family of origin issues, life transitions, women's issues, and support for LGBTQ+ individuals and those in the entertainment industry.
Drawing from a diverse therapeutic toolbox, A.G. utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Experiential interventions. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Music Business from Middle Tennessee State University, bringing a unique perspective to her work with clients in the entertainment industry. Her credentials include being a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (Provisional), completion of Graduate Play Therapy Specialization, Brainspotting Phase I & II training, and certification as a PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator.
Beyond the therapy room, A.G.'s love for music and adventure enriches her practice. She can often be found scouting live music venues, planning her next travel destination, or enjoying game nights with friends and family. These experiences, combined with her professional training, inform her belief that human connection is the greatest gift – a philosophy she brings to every therapeutic relationship. With A.G.
