Allison Sinclair, LCSW, has over two decades of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in trauma, stress, and anxiety disorders, including PTSD, complex developmental trauma, depression, and complex relational family issues.
She uses attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and trauma-informed care, combining cognitive, somatic, and EMDR techniques; she is EMDR certified and a certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Allison provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults and conducts mental health assessments.
A strengths-based, client-centered clinician, she fosters a collaborative therapeutic relationship with honest, gentle feedback and emphasizes neuroplasticity and the brain–body connection. She is a Trauma Informed Care Trainer through Trauma Informed Oregon and an adjunct professor at Portland State University’s Social Work Program.
