Amanda Paracat

Amanda Paracat is a co-founder of ProCare Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy, PLLC. She works with people to regain hand functionality, recognizing the hands as essential tools for interaction.

Paracat began her journey in occupational therapy at The University of Scranton, earning a Bachelor's in Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2014. Her passion for hand therapy led her to become a Certified Hand Therapist in 2018. She has honed her skills at Signature Hand Therapy and Glen Cove Hospital, affiliated with Northwell Health.

Paracat employs a holistic, client centered approach, focusing on restoring functionality for daily tasks. Her practice incorporates techniques from her RYT500 yoga certification, promoting balance in mind and body. Clients can expect a structured, supportive environment aimed at practical recovery.
