Amanda Paracat

Amanda Paracat, MS, OTR/L, CHT, is Co-founder of ProCare Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy, PLLC. She is an occupational therapist and Certified Hand Therapist focused on hand therapy and rehabilitation.

She earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, The University of Scranton, 2014, and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2018, developing expertise in splint-making. Amanda has practiced at Signature Hand Therapy and Glen Cove Hospital (affiliate of Northwell Health).

Her client-centered approach emphasizes helping individuals regain the skills necessary for participating in everyday tasks, including work, leisure, and play activities, and she integrates a holistic perspective as an RYT500 hour certified yoga instructor. Patients and colleagues praise her dedication; one patient credited her specialized hand-cast technique for enabling them to return to work at full capacity.
