Ana Brinton

Ana Brinton, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly a decade of experience in private practice. She holds a BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University (2006), an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University (2011), and a second Master's in School Counseling from Southeastern University (2013).

She specializes in depression, anxiety, behavior and attention‑deficit disorders, women's issues, and grief and loss, and connects with clients across the lifespan from children to the elderly. Her early experience serving in children's ministry informed her interest in unmet needs among children and families.

A native of Brazil who moved to America at the age of 14, she is fluent in English and Portuguese. For five years she has been with Heartland Counseling Center and provides counseling services remotely after relocating to Boone, NC, combining a Christ-centered perspective with practical clinical skills.
