His areas of focus include trauma, anger management, emotional identification difficulties, attention and hyperactivity regulation, and the development of coping strategies for day-to-day challenges faced in early years. With a concentration in serving LGBTQIA+ identifying populations and individuals managing chronic diseases, Curtis offers a compassionate and inclusive approach to therapy.

What sets Curtis apart is his "hands-on" therapeutic style, which incorporates a variety of sensory and cathartic clinical interventions. Understanding that play is a child's first language, he designs his 60-minute sessions to feel like an organic first step in maintaining a child's mental health. Curtis's educational background from Bowling Green State University in human development and fine art informs his unique therapeutic approach.
