Curtis Peet

Curtis Peet, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been serving the mental health needs of children and young adults in the greater Toledo area for nearly four years. He joined the team at TBT in the summer of 2023.

He specializes in early childhood mental health, focusing on trauma, anger management, emotional identification difficulties, attention and hyperactivity regulation, and coping strategies for day-to-day challenges. He maintains a concentration in serving LGBTQIA+ identifying populations and individuals managing chronic diseases.

Curtis uses a 'hands-on' therapeutic style that incorporates a variety of sensory and cathartic clinical interventions and 60-minute sessions, structuring play-based work as an accessible first step in care. He is currently under the supervision of Bridget Schwirzinski MA, LSW, LPCC-S and aims to provide a compassionate, inclusive space for young clients to explore and build skills.
