Dan Anderson

Dan Anderson, PT, DPT, is Clinical Director at Professional Care Physical Therapy's Riverhead location. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University's Doctorate in Physical Therapy program in 2011 and advocated for paralyzed veterans.

He focuses on orthopedics, sport-specific rehabilitation, and injury prevention in adolescent athletes. He holds a Level 1 certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and applies hands-on manual therapy in clinical practice.

He has experience treating patients across the age spectrum, from pediatrics to senior citizens, addressing orthopedic, neurologic, and sports injuries. A Certified Clinical Instructor and adjunct faculty at Stony Brook University's Physical Therapy Program from 2012 to 2016, Anderson emphasizes personalized, evidence-based care.
