Deborah Mckenna, CH, BCC, BC-TMH, LCPC, brings 30 years of experience to her counseling practice in Peoria, IL. She specializes in guiding adolescents, young adults, adults, and Military members through life’s complexities and offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space.

An accredited hypnotherapist with 26 years in hypnotherapy, she integrates hypnotherapy with counseling to address stress, habit change, and performance concerns alongside traditional therapy work. Her hypnotherapy complements broader treatment rather than standing alone.

She employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
