Desiree Hernandez

Desiree Hernandez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings over 15 years of experience to her practice. She works with people facing depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and trauma, offering a safe, non judgmental space for young children, teens, young adults, and adults.

Hernandez's extensive experience includes school-based and community outpatient settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton. Her diverse background allows her to meet the needs of each client, regardless of age or life stage.

Hernandez employs an eclectic, client centered approach grounded in evidence based methods. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and play therapy.
