Elise Elston

Elise Elston, LSW, is an EMDR-trained trauma therapist at Ebb & Flow Counseling. She earned an MSW from the Mandel School, holds a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care, and certification through the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.

She specializes in guiding teens and adults recovering from intimate partner violence, childhood abuse, religious trauma, and queer trauma, with a particular passion for supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. She uses techniques for establishing healthy boundaries and processing past traumas.

Her approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that shame, while often painful, can be a powerful indicator of our deepest hurts and greatest opportunities for growth. She offers a trauma-informed, nonjudgmental space focused on steps toward safety and connection.
