Jack Subsinsky

Jack Subsinsky, LPC, ATR, CCTP, is a licensed therapist who integrates Art Therapy and evidence-based trauma treatments to address past trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, and adjustment difficulties. He uses the psycho-kinetic imagery model and works with visual art, creative writing, and mindful movement alongside Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

He practices trauma-informed care in community mental health, focusing on PTSD treatment for clients with co-occurring substance use disorders, and has provided services in residential settings for individuals with eating disorders and in group and individual art therapy programs.

Subsinsky blends person-centered, Jungian, Gestalt, and Existentialist perspectives in a collaborative, client-empowering approach that tailors interventions to each person’s needs and supports increased self-awareness and authenticity.
