She holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from James Madison University and a Master's degree in the same field from LIU-Post, providing a strong academic foundation for her practice. Her credentials are further bolstered by her New York State license in speech-language pathology and the prestigious Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Throughout her career, Karen has demonstrated a passion for advancing her field. Her contributions have been recognized with the ACE Award from ASHA and the Outstanding Service Award from the Long Island Speech-Language-Hearing Association (LISHA), of which she is an active member.
