Liya Ferrante

Liya Ferrante, Mental Health Case Worker and a first-year Master's in Social Work (MSW) student, supports vulnerable populations using innovative behavioral interventions and focuses on supporting children with anxiety-based disorders. She incorporates mindfulness and yoga into her practice alongside evidence-informed strategies.

She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in family studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and worked as a research assistant focused on behavioral interventions for children with anxiety. Her experience includes nonprofit work on literacy and food security, serving as a Child Development Specialist at a residential treatment center for women and children, and coordinating community resources for patients in the Intermountain Behavioral Health Units after relocating to Ogden in 2022.

Liya believes access to basic needs is fundamental to well-being and is committed to connecting clients with community resources. She seeks to create a supportive, empathetic space that emphasizes empowerment and personal growth.
