Luis Ortega

Luis Ortega, PhD, LP, LPCC-S, is a licensed counseling psychologist in Columbus, Ohio who works with adult clients. His integrative approach draws from dynamic relational therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction to support psychological flexibility, coping skills, and overall well-being.

With over 20 years of experience in university counseling centers and private practice, he is fully bilingual, offering services in English and Spanish to clients from diverse backgrounds. He earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Andrews University and completed internship and postdoctoral residency at The Ohio State University's Counseling and Consultation Service. Licensed in Ohio and registered for telehealth in Florida and multiple PSYPACT states, he also provides consultation, supervision, and graduate-level instruction.
