Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Healing Minds. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he offers bilingual services and focuses on sexual health within an inclusive therapeutic framework.

He holds a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno and an M.A. in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is currently pursuing certification as a sex therapist through the Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).

He works with individuals of all ages, couples, and families, with particular fondness for adolescents and community-based family dynamics. He is experienced working with LGBTQIA individuals and communities that practice kink, BDSM, and consensual nonmonogamy, offering a nonjudgmental, inclusive space for sexual and relational concerns.
