Michael Behen

Dr. Michael E. Behen is the founder and Director of The Imagine Center for Psychological Health, serving families across Southeastern Michigan. Behen works with children and adults facing neurodevelopmental, neurologic, and psychiatric challenges, including autism spectrum disorder and Tourette's Disorder.

Behen is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Wayne State University in Detroit. He directs the Neuropsychology Clinics in the Department of Pediatric Neurology and leads the Neuropsychological Component of the Children's Hospital of Michigan Translational Imaging Center. His research focuses on neurodevelopment and neuroplasticity.

Utilizing comprehensive neurocognitive evaluations and advanced imaging tools, Behen integrates scientific insights into patient care. His approach emphasizes empirically supported treatments with a strength-based, person-centered focus. Patients can expect thorough assessments and tailored interventions that address individual needs.
