Pamela Baird

Pamela Baird, Director of Veteran Student Services at California State University, East Bay, oversees a comprehensive program designed to ease the transition from military to academic life and provides wraparound student support services to all CSUEB veteran students.

She coordinates one-on-one academic counseling, including in-depth academic advisement, career and goal planning, scholarship guidance, and graduate school advising. She also oversees the processing of educational benefits and provides coaching on how to effectively use VA benefits.

Her office offers workshops on campus and off-campus resources, networking opportunities, and initiatives to build a strong community, and collaborates closely with the CSUEB Student Veteran Organization. Her student-centered, holistic approach focuses on ensuring veteran students have the resources and guidance needed to succeed academically and professionally.
