Rosemarie Ansel

Rosemarie M. Ansel, MSW, CHC, is Executive Director of River Valley Counseling Center. She holds a Master's in Social Work and certification as a Health Coach and brings social work expertise and health coaching to her role, focused on improving community health through compassionate, client-centered care.

Ansel has shaped the center's comprehensive behavioral health continuum including outpatient clinics, school-based services, and specialized programs, and fosters a team of experienced, licensed mental health clinicians and psychiatrists who provide tailored treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

She oversees programs including the HIV/AIDS Project, School-Based Health Centers, the Children's Behavioral Health Initiative, Substance Use services, and the CONCERN Employee Assistance Program, and emphasizes client participation in their treatment plans and a holistic, client-centered approach to community health. Under her leadership, RVCC continues advancing its mission of changing lives and empowering people throughout the Pioneer Valley.
