Ruby Hwang

Ruby Hwang, ACSW, is a pre-licensed clinician supervised by Ashleigh Sorenson, LMFT #88863. She uses Eastern philosophy, depth work, earth-based wisdom, and somatic healing in her practice.

Her specialties include somatic work, trauma and complex trauma (CPTSD), immigration, identity exploration, self-compassion, and boundaries. She graduated from the Columbia School of Social Work in 2021 with an emphasis on clinical practice and has over five years of experience in service work and case management.

Having migrated from South Korea at a young age, Ruby centers cultural identity and interdependence in treatment. She supports People of the Global Majority and those of LGBTQIA2S+ experience; she enjoys working with creatives, college students, women & femmes, and young adults.
