Santos Carter, Veteran Benefits Coordinator at California State University, East Bay, serves as a vital link between the university's veteran community and the resources they have earned through their military service.

He assists with processing educational benefits, provides benefits coaching, and helps veterans navigate VA education benefits to maximize those benefits for educational and career goals.

As part of the Veteran Student Services team, Santos Carter contributes to a comprehensive support system that offers one-on-one holistic academic counseling covering academic advisement, career and goal planning, and guidance on balancing academic and personal life.
