Wendy Jacobsen, M.A., LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Alabama and California who earned a B.A. in Humanities with a Philosophy emphasis from Biola University and a Master's in Counseling from Palo Alto University.
She utilizes trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT); somatic mindfulness; play therapy; and attachment-based therapy, and she is a Level 1 trained PACT therapist, working from a trauma-informed, humanistic perspective.
She has over three years living in Jordan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey, which informs her multicultural background.
