Christina Lu

Christina Lu, Psy.D., is a psychologist at Hawaii Counseling and Wellness Center who uses an integrative approach with individuals, couples, and families. She emphasizes couples and family work and emotion-focused models, drawing on relational and strength-based methods to tailor care to each client’s needs.

Her clinical expertise includes depression, anxiety, trauma, partner and sexual abuse, family conflict, divorce, LGBT concerns, and relationship issues. She has worked at the National Center for PTSD; Catholic Charities Family Services; Salvation Army Family Treatment Services; Tripler Army Medical Center; Queen's Medical Center; and the University of Hawai'i Counseling and Student Development Center.

Dr. Lu serves as adjunct faculty at the Hawaii School of Professional Psychology and brings a gentle, empowerment-focused, non-judgmental style. She values acceptance, humor, spontaneity, and creativity, and supports clients in pursuing long-term personal growth and resilience.
