Sharon Qi

Sharon Qi is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with people with autism spectrum disorders and their families through significant life transitions. Qi helps adolescents and young adults with high-functioning autism navigate high school, college, and early career development.

Dr. Qi holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a master's degree in Counseling Education from San Jose State University. Her professional journey includes teaching in school districts, conducting research at Stanford Research Institution, and serving as a product/program manager in a high-technology company. Qi is currently a part-time instructor at San Jose State University.

Qi employs Applied Behavior Analytics, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She focuses on identifying stress sources and environmental factors affecting emotional well-being. Clients can expect a tailored approach to address their needs.
