Abhilash Patel

With nearly two decades of experience as a healthcare founder and investor, Abhilash Patel brings a wealth of expertise to his advisory role at MentalHealth.com. In 2009, he and Jeff Smith co-founded Recovery Brands, LLC, where they grew the company from concept to its sale in 2015. As an investor, Abhilash founded Thermal, a venture studio that accelerates growth for companies like Lyft, ClassPass, Daily Harvest, TetraScience, Figs, and Winc, among others. Abhilash’s passion for life-saving mental health care is reflected in his co-founding of Within Health, a virtual clinic providing treatment to those suffering from eating disorders.
