Dr. Allan Schwartz, LCSW, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in private practice. He is licensed in Colorado (License #127) and New York (License #R039535). Dr. Schwartz earned his MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 1988 and his PhD in 1976 from the Ferkauf Graduate School, both at Yeshiva University in New York City. In 1992, he became a Certified Psychoanalyst through the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP).

Before establishing his full-time private practice, Dr. Schwartz built extensive clinical expertise through roles at Bronx Lebanon Hospital’s Outpatient Psychiatry Department, FEGS, the Continuing Day Treatment Program for Chronically Mentally Ill Patients, and the Geriatric Center’s Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center.
